I received an email from Carrie Radabaugh, who is the Community Outreach Coordinator for Warren
Township, concerning Indianapolis Public School closings. Students from several IPS schools will be
transferred to Warren Township, including English as a second language (ESL) students. Ms Ruth Ann Walker, who is the mayor's neighborhood liaison for Warren Township, is sponsoring a book drive to provide books for students who are being transferred to School 105.
Enid Morrison,
Deacon
As many of you may know, IPS will be closing multiple schools next year,
including two in Warren Township: IPS 98 (3698 Dubarry Rd.) and IPS
102 (9501 E 36th St.).
IPS 105 (8620 Montery Rd.) will be taking on an
additional 120 students from these schools, in addition to many ESL
students.
From Monday, February 2, through Tuesday, March 10, Ruth Ann Walker, mayor's neighborhood liaison for Warren Township, will be sponsoring a book drive to provide IPS 105 with books that can be used by these incoming Warren Township students.
Please consider donating new or gently used children's books for preschool through elementary-school aged children.
