The Life Together committee wants everyone to know how we are going to 'Recall the past', 'Assess the Present', 'Discover the Vision' , and 'Create the Future'. To help the parish understand how the parish is going to do this, and to keep the parish informed, we have created some web pages at http://www.lifetogether.stmattsindy.org. An invitation to Barb Kempf's ordination
Children and Youth: Mark Your Calendar -The children and youth will cook for the bake sale during the education hour (9:00 a.m.) on Sunday, May 11th. Check the sign up sheet in the Narthex for items to donate for the Bake Sale.
Children and Youth Bake Sale To Benefit Outreach Efforts -The children and youth will host a bake sale on Sunday, May 18th. All proceeds will go to support the outreach project “Klothes for Kids.” The children and youth will use the funds raised at the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and the Bake Sale to purchase clothing for children at our neighboring school. Bring your sweet tooth and your extra change on the 18th. There will be plenty of homemade goodies for purchase!

Vacation Bible School (VBS), St. Matthew’s Episcopal and Gethsemane Lutheran, Cooperative Offering, Evenings of June 17-20, 2008, (Start time still to be determined) Please join us for four evenings of Vacation Bible School this June. All ages are welcome. VBS is not just for children. Our theme for the children’s programming will be Rainforest Adventure: A Tree Top Bible Blast! Summer Worship schedule to start on JUNE 1, 2008. Sunday Services will be at 8:00 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. with nursery care available at 9:15 A.M. There will be NO Sunday School classes during the months of June, July or August.
